Bailey Island

(Wheeler only lists Timothy Bailey as an early land owner on Bailey Island. However William Black certainally should be acknowledged, if not as an owner/squatter, at least as a resident, by virtue of having resided there for twenty years prior to Timothy Bailey. This would also make him one of the earliest settlers of Harpswell.)
